Gibson Les Paul Recording

Gibson Les Paul Recording

The Gibson Les Paul Recording is a remarkably versatile and unique take on the classic Les Paul design, offering a wide array of tones that are both practical and inspiring. This guitar isn't just about novelty—it's a serious instrument with a vast tonal palette. When pushed to its full potential, it delivers the signature powerful humbucker growl you'd expect. However, thanks to its innovative features like the out-of-phase switch and separate treble and bass controls, you can dial in everything from smooth, warm textures to sharp, cutting tones.

One of the standout features is the "Decade" switch, which allows you to adjust the overtones, almost as if you're swapping out different humbuckers on the fly. This gives you unprecedented control over your sound, making it a perfect choice for studio work and live performances alike.

Condition: very good, especially considering its age. There is tarnishing and wear on the tailpiece and bridge, they work well, though. Please check the photos to get a good idea of the condition.

Modifications: None.

Repairs: None.

In the video, I explain the controls - it's not this exact guitar though.
